About Me

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with 20 years of experience in helping individual, couples and families to navigate life’s challenges and transitions.

I have contributed my expertise to various sectors including schools, prison services and family service centres. I am also the Founder of Tabor Wellness (Counselling &
Coaching Services).

Though based in Singapore, I offer online counselling for clients in any geographical location who needs counselling or coaching support. The Online counselling helps mental health services available to individuals in remote or in areas where in-person services might not be accessible or convenient.

My area of expertise is in providing individual, couples, and family counselling, with a
focus on mental health, emotional well-being, marital, relationship, PTSD, domestic
violence, suicide, life transitions, and grief and loss issues.

My counselling and coaching services are designed to foster personal growth and overcome challenges.

I employ an integrative, holistic approach that incorporates various therapeutic methods such as client-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), mindfulness-based therapy (MBCT), motivational interviewing, family therapy, Gottman couple therapy, and Trauma-focused CBT. Transformative coaching is also a key aspect of my practice.

Empathy and compassion are at the core of my work, ensuring that clients have a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment to explore their hopes, fears, and strengths.

I collaborate with clients to develop effective coping strategies and enhance their emotional well-being, confidence, and overall quality of life.

Fluent in English, Tamil, and conversational Malay, I offer a culturally sensitive perspective in my practice.
