Rochelle McGhee, LCPC

Greetings! My name is Rochelle McGhee, and I commend you for taking the step to prioritize your well-being. Here is some information about my background and approach to therapy.

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and over 18 years of experience, I am well-equipped to provide counseling services. In addition, I obtained certification in 2018 to assist those working on alcohol and substance abuse issues.

My therapeutic approach is tailored to your individual needs, drawing from various modalities but primarily based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a type of cognitive behavior therapy that emphasizes mindfulness skills to manage thoughts and emotions. I have assisted clients with depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, family conflicts, forgiveness issues, and other challenges.

I believe in respecting clients and their innate ability to achieve their goals, taking a patient approach while maintaining focus on progress. My ultimate goal is to help you feel empowered, heard, and valued. As partners on a journey, we will work together to create a manageable and meaningful life for you.

I strive to respond to messages promptly, within 24 hours on days when I am unavailable for live sessions. I offer morning and afternoon appointments for live sessions three days a week. Thank you for considering me as your therapist, and I am excited to support you on your path to healing.
